The Catholic Diocese of Grand Rapids covers an 11 county area and includes 103 parishes and missions as well as several schools. The Diocese has had several projects that The Wisinski Group has worked on. They range from selling large 16-acre sites, small half-acre lots, old churches and residential properties to purchasing property in order to expand in several locations. Each property has had its challenges. The properties have included large, outdated school buildings, vacant parcels of land, and the 16-acre Diocesan headquarters located on Burton Street. With each project, Stan and Mary Anne have engaged experts in several fields to assist in analyzing each property. This has included attorneys, appraisers, engineers, environmental specialists or residential brokers. This information is then used to determine the best course of action to market the properties for sale. The property was then exposed to a targeted audience that would best be suited for the property. In some cases, a buyer has been easy to find and in other cases it has been more of a challenge. Stan and Mary Anne have utilized their vast knowledge of the real estate market, their many contacts and The Wisinski Group’s marketing tools in order to successfully represent the Diocese in all transactions.
